Lululemon, which began selling Athletic Propulsion Labs sneakers in a number of its stores last year, has taken another step in the relationship. The athleisure pioneer has joined APL in co-designing a three-style collection that “riffs on two of APL’s best-selling sneakers,” the Techloom and the Ascend. Here, however, the shoes are in colors specific to Lululemon. There’s cinder rose, a dusty pink. Black ombré is a black-to-white gradient, and black all-reflective is a black knit that uses reflective yarn. Along with the launch, footwear will be offered in additional Lululemon locations.
California-based APL, according to a Racked interview with Lululemon Executive Vice President Celeste Burgoyne, “shares Lululemon’s brand values of providing a technical product that elevates the health and wellness of all.”
